Information We Collect

FitMe collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with you. This includes basic identifiers (name, email, phone), lifestyle habits, and coaching communications. Additionally, we may collect sensitive personal information including fitness data, nutrition logs, body composition metrics, progress photos, and genetic wellness information when you voluntarily provide it through our assessments or third-party testing kits.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide personalized fitness and nutrition coaching, generate wellness insights from genetic data, track your progress, communicate with you regarding your programs, and process payments. We also use data to improve our service offerings and ensure the security of our platforms. FitMe does not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or rent your health, fitness, or genetic data for advertising purposes.

Health, Fitness, Nutrition, and Genetic Information

FitMe is a fitness and nutrition coaching business, not a medical practice. The services and information provided, including insights derived from genetic testing, are for educational and informational purposes only. We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

DNA Testing and Third-Party Testing Providers

DNA samples and genetic testing are processed by independent third-party laboratories or providers. These providers maintain their own privacy policies, terms of service, consent forms, and data-security practices. FitMe acts as a facilitator to interpret these results for your wellness plan. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third-party testing laboratory before submitting biological samples.

Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with third-party platforms such as fitness tracking apps and communication tools. Please be aware that these external services have their own privacy practices and FitMe is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such third parties.

Payments

Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment processors. FitMe does not directly store complete credit card information or sensitive financial details on our own servers. All transactions are subject to the privacy policies and security measures of our chosen payment gateway providers.

Cookies and Website Data

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and understand user behavior. You can manage your cookie preferences through your web browser settings.

Client Portals and Private Files

FitMe may provide access to private client portals where progress reports, nutrition plans, and workout schedules are stored. These files are protected and intended for your private use only. We encourage you to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Information Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services, comply with the law, or protect our rights. This may include sharing data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business and serving our clients, provided they agree to keep this information confidential.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. These include physical, electronic, and managerial procedures designed to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

Your Privacy Choices

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can also object to the processing of your data or request that we restrict its use. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address provided below.

Children’s Privacy

FitMe does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 18. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

HIPAA and Health Privacy Laws

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies to certain healthcare providers, health plans, healthcare clearinghouses, and their business associates. While FitMe may not be a HIPAA-covered entity based on our business model as a coaching professional service, we still take reasonable measures to protect confidential client information consistent with industry standards for digital privacy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

**Cancel Anytime**
FitMe Membership and recurring 1:1 Coaching subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the client's current paid billing period.
**No Refunds**
All FitMe membership, coaching, program, and digital product payments are non-refundable once payment has been processed. This includes unused membership time, missed workouts, missed check-ins, lack of participation, or a client's decision to discontinue a program or service before the end of the paid billing period.
Canceling a recurring subscription does not result in a full or prorated refund for the current billing period. Clients will continue to have access to the services and materials included with their purchase through the end of the period for which they have already paid, when applicable.
**Recurring Payments**
Clients are responsible for canceling their recurring subscription before their next scheduled billing date if they do not wish to renew. After cancellation, no additional recurring payments will be charged unless the client enrolls again.
**Digital Programs & Materials**
Payments for digital programs, downloadable materials, personalized fitness or nutrition plans, coaching resources, and other digital FitMe products are non-refundable once access has been provided or materials have been delivered.
**DNA Fitness + Nutrition Testing**
Because the FitMe DNA Fitness + 30-Day Coaching package includes a physical DNA testing kit, third-party laboratory services, personalized interpretation, and coaching, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on whether the testing kit has already been ordered, shipped, registered, used, or submitted for processing. DNA testing purchases are subject to the separate cancellation and refund terms presented at the time of purchase.
**Billing Errors**
If a client believes they were charged in error, they should contact FitMe promptly so the transaction can be reviewed.
By purchasing a FitMe membership, coaching service, program, or digital product, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable cancellation and refund terms.
